DISTRICT BOARD MEMBERS
 

DONALD RAY HANCOCK, Chairman, a native Arizonian, born in Snowflake, raised in Winslow. Received Bachelors and Masters Degrees from NAU Flagstaff. Veteran US Army Korea, Served LDS Mission Northwestern States, Certified Systems Analyst and Computer Programmer. Eighteen years in educational settings in the White Mountains, Thirteen years at Blue Ridge Schools as teacher, coach, Technology Advisor, and Business Manager. Assistant Superintendent in establishing the NAVIT vocational school district. Twelve years experience as school Superintendent on the Navajo Reservation. He has served on many Pinetop-Lakeside community committees including co-chairing Pinetop-Lakeside Fall Festival, Native American Arts Festival, helped establish and coached in the Lakeside summer softball league, Lakeside Cemetery Committee, Lakeside Personnel Review Committee, Served 10 years on the Navapache Hospital District Board.

PHILIP JOHNSON, M.D., Vice Chairman, Born in the mountains of Pakistan, went to Medical School at Northwestern, Residency at U of A, worked in Whiteriver IHS for 4 years, taught overseas as a Fulbright Scholar for 2 years. Has worked at Navapache/Summit from 1994-present. Is involved with the community and is interested in the future of quality health care in this growing community.

DAR RIDGELEY was born and raised in northern Arizona and has lived and been a business owner in Show Low since 1975. He has been active in the public school systems since 1968. Mr. Ridgeley served as a Show Low Ambulance volunteer EMT from 1976 to 1981. He joined the District Board in June 2001.

RANDY TENNEY is a local business owner and is very active in the community. He served as mayor of Show Low from 1986 until 1990 and has also served on the City Council, Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the Show Low Fire Department Board of Directors.
