Where can I pay my bill?
By mail: Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center 2200 ShowLow Lake Road, Show Low, Arizona 85901 or In person at: The East Campus building behind the hospital on Hunt Road in the Business Office from 8:00am-4:30pm Monday thru Friday.

I need to have surgery but I don't have any insurance. Who can I talk with about how much my hospital bill is going to be?

I just received my hospital bill and can't possibly pay it all at once. Who do I talk with about this (e.g. setting up a payment plan, helping me to apply for financial assistance)?

Who can I talk with to determine if my hospital bill will be covered by my insurance company? Is your hospital "in-network" with my insurance plan?
Please contact your insurance carrier or employer for specific information regarding your benefit plan. Your insurance carrier will also know which hospitals/facilities are contracted as being "in-network".

Can I use my credit card to pay my hospital bill?
Yes. The hospital accepts Visa and MasterCard for payment.

Why am I getting a separate bill from the hospital, Emergency Department, physicians, Radiologists, Pathologists, and Cardiologists?
The hospital bills only for the services it provides. The above-listed physicians independent of the hospital and, therefore, bill separately for the services they provide.

PHYSICIAN QUESTIONS

How can I get information about Physicians in this community?
Please select "Physician Directory" from the list of links at the top. You will be taken to a list of
Physicians on the medical staff in alphabetical order by specialty.

I do not have a regular physician, but need a mammogram (lab test, etc.). May I have that test at the hospital without a physician order?
Mammograms can be directly requested by the patient if they have a physician that will receive the report (the Health Department may also be used for reporting purposes.) Laboratory testing and other diagnostic testing requests must be made by a physician.

How can I determine if my physician is in-network with my insurance plan?
Contact your insurance company directly by calling the phone number on back of your insurance card. Your insurer will know which physicians and facilities are on your plan.

PRE-ADMISSION TESTING

Where do I go for pre-admission testing (x-rays, lab work, etc.)?
Patients can have their pre-admission testing performed in the hospital Admissions Department or at the Aspen Clinic if their physician orders it for the Clinic.

VISITING HOURS
What are the hospital's visiting hours? How many visitors can a patient have at the same time? What hours can we visit to see the babies through the nursery window?
General visitation hours: 8:00am-8:30pm. 2 visitors per patient. Children under 12 years of age are not permitted to visit, but may wait , accompanied by an adult. For Intensive Care visitation, please contact the specific unit. Maternity Center visitation: General visitation rules apply, however, siblings under the age of 12 may visit.
